Julia Y.Y. Lee, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Julia Lee is a California native who grew up here in beautiful southern California. Although it was difficult to leave the warm and sunny skies of California, Dr. Lee took advantage of her educational career to broaden her horizons. Her extensive and diverse schooling has allowed her to become the dedicated and experienced surgeon that she is today. Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology, currently ranked the #1 university in the world. She then attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, another elite and top-20 academic institution.

Dr. Lee has completed accredited residency training in both General Surgery as well as Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She did her general surgery internship at UCLA, and then went on to graduate from the rigorous general surgery residency program at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. For her Plastic Surgery specialization, Dr. Lee pursued fellowship training at the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. While there, she received excellent and well-rounded training and exposure to all aspects of plastic surgery, from microvascular reconstruction to minimally-invasive cosmetic enhancements. Dr. Lee is proud to be a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
